Weddings at the Coach House

Since obtaining approval to hold Civil Marriage ceremonies, our beautiful next door neighbour, the Chester Town Hall has become one of the most popular venues in Cheshire. Many couples have already tied the knot at this architecturally acclaimed building.

With The Coach House sitting just a few feet away from this hugely popular venue, it is the ideal place to hold an intimate wedding reception for around 50-100 guests.

We can cater for any type of reception, from a 5 course meal to a champagne afternoon tea and welcome wedding parties all year round. In summer you can welcome your guests with a champagne toast in our al fresco seating area, whilst in winter our fireplace provides a warm and cosy environment indoors.

The Coach House is home to 9 beautiful boutique-style bedrooms, the biggest room at the front of the hotel that looks out over Town Hall Square lends itself perfectly to being used as a honeymoon suite. Twenty-four hour room service is available, and we can of course arrange for flowers, chocolates and champagne to be left in the room for the happy couple.

Being in the centre of town, there are plenty of hairdressers and beauty salons within close proximity of us. The award winning hair stylist Andrew Collinge has a salon just a few yards up the road from us in Northgate Street.

Ean and Barbara of The Flower Box, based in Chester Market are highly skilled in the art of design floristry and can help add the finishing touches to your ceremony and reception. They create beautiful bridal bouquets, head-dresses, button holes and corsages as well as table centres and other floral decorations to suit traditional and modern weddings.
