After much thought, deliberating – and a great deal of tasting (!), The Coach House Inn is just about to launch its delicious new gastro style menu. Chef James Cooke has worked tirelessly to produce a hearty selection of everyone’s favourite dishes in an innovative and contemporary way.
We really do believe he has thought of everything and his Traditional shepherds pie with slow cooked lamb breast, crushed peas and glazed carrots is a real treat! There are so many delicious new dishes in James’ new Gastro selection, all made using the very best ingredients from only the very best suppliers and producers that Chester and Cheshire have to offer.
David Joinson Quality Meats in Chester is a good example and we have really enjoyed working with David over the last few years, especially as he has won the best sausage award for three years running at The Giant Chester Food, Drink & Lifestyle Festival! David sources our lamb from Cave Bank Farm in Utkinton, our beef from Brereton Park Farm in Lower Huxley and our Pork from Rose Farm, also in Utkinton – and all Farms are located in Cheshire.
We have also been working with The Cheese Wedge stall in Chester Market Hall for the last few years and with Tattenhall Dairy Products (in Tattenhall) and Wallis the Bakers in Saltney, who are all exceptional – we feel that the service and the quality of produce supplied by these producers is second to none, plus they help us to keep our carbon footprint nice and low, which is good for everyone!
